The Summer I Turned Pretty was one of my favorite books long before the tv show came out. I remember reading this on the bus in middle school and having to wait so long for the final book in the trilogy that it was painful! While Conrad is certainly swoon-worthy, I was always a Jeremiah fan. If you’re looking for a nostalgic summer romance, you need this book.
