The People We Choose by Katelyn Detweiler Book Review
This book was not even on my radar until I went through a list of recent authors I read and added some of the authors’ other books to my TBR. I loved Katelyn Detweiler’s Immaculate so thought I’d add this book to the TBR and the library had a copy.

3 YA Books That Will Make You Want to Go Apple Picking
Crisp air, cozy flannels, cider-scent afternoons..and books! Is there anything better than bundling up with a YA novel that captures the spirit of fall? It may not be quite fall weather yet where I am, but I’m fully into my fall TBR and just got back from apple picking so here are five YA book that will make you want to go apple picking.
Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines Book Review
We’re getting close to the end of my summer TBR with this next review here! Somehow I managed to read this title and three more off my summer list by August 31. That brings the amount of summer reads to a grand total of 27 books during June, July, and August!

8 YA Books to Put On Your Fall TBR
The air is crisp, the leaves are falling, the pumpkin apple Bath & Body Works candle is burning. It’s time for another cozy autumn season! If you’re gathering your TBR list, you’ll want to add these eight titles to guarantee a great spooky season of reading.
Places We’ve Never Been by Kasie West Book Review
Another read from my summer tbr, I picked up this title at the library because I loved the book Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson (which I actually have at The Reading Chamber!) I always love a good road trip book and have read some pretty bad ones in the past so I was hoping that this would be the summer road trip romance of my dreams. This author is hit or miss for me so I was cautiously optimistic.

The Trouble with Flirting by Claire LaZebnik Book Review
While working my way through my summer TBR list, I read a book that took place at a summer theater program. I didn’t realize when I added it to my list that it’s actually by the author Claire LaZebnik, who wrote The Last Best Kiss, which we had at the bookstore! I really enjoyed that book, but didn’t care too much for her other title Epic Fail, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this next read.

If You’re Team Conrad, Read These YA Books
The Fisher boys have taken the world by storm with the Prime adaptation of the YA book The Summer I Turned Pretty. Everyone wonders if Belly will choose brooding, loyal Conrad Fisher or his younger brother fun-loving, impulsive Jeremiah Fisher. But, if you read the book back in 2009 when it was published, you know the ending and the ultimate decision Belly makes.
The Rebel Girls of Rome by Jordyn Taylor Book Review
My bookclub ended up choosing this book for our July read and I luckily already sold it in the bookstore! (I promise, that is not why I suggested this book for our monthly read.) I loved Jordyn Taylor’s previous book, The Paper Girl of Paris, which is also available at The Reading Chamber.

A British Girl’s Guide to Hurricanes and Heartbreak by Laura Taylor Namey Book Review
I’ve been working my way through a summer TBR list that features summer romance stories: road trips, camp, vacationing at the beach and lake. This book had a slightly different summer vibe filled with grief and discovering who you want to be (with a little romance mixed in). If you read A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow, get ready for its sequel:

Meet Me at Midnight by Jessica Pennington Book Review
Everyone talks about beach reads, but if your summer vacay is to the lake instead of the shore, then you still need some books to read by the water. Some popular YA lake titles include Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson and Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West, but why not add this title to the mix?

YA Book Series You Forgot About
Remember when your biggest dilemma was choosing between Team Edward and Team Jacob? When you’d stay up way past your bedtime to read just one more chapter—and before you knew it, it was 3 a.m.? (Truth, I still do this, but I’m Team Edward all the way.) Young adult books exploded in the mid 2000s with so many new books and series that you probably never caught up on your TBR and ultimately forgot about some amazing YA series. Let’s take a walk down memory lane, or introduce you to some series you absolutely should check out:

Their families, long-time rivals with neighboring pho restaurants, have kept them apart—until a chance encounter sparks an unexpected connection. As old tensions resurface, Bao and Linh must decide if love can bloom amid family feuds and unspoken truths.

5 Things You Need to Know About Online Bookstores
Every reader knows the thrill of walking into a bookstore and smelling the distinctive book smell. It feels like coming home. We love browsing the different shelves for treasures—both new discoveries and books we’ve been searching for. Nothing will ever truly beat that, especially with new specialty bookstores like romance-only stores popping up all over the country. However, online bookstores are becoming more and more popular as a way to reach audiences outside of their local area so here are five things you need to know:
