The People We Choose by Katelyn Detweiler Book Review
This book was not even on my radar until I went through a list of recent authors I read and added some of the authors’ other books to my TBR. I loved Katelyn Detweiler’s Immaculate so thought I’d add this book to the TBR and the library had a copy.

Crisp air, cozy flannels, cider-scent afternoons..and books! Is there anything better than bundling up with a YA novel that captures the spirit of fall? Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines Book Review
We’re getting close to the end of my summer TBR with this next review here! Somehow I managed to read this title and three more off my summer list by August 31. That brings the amount of summer reads to a grand total of 27 books during June, July, and August!

The air is crisp, the leaves are falling, the pumpkin apple Bath & Body Works candle is burning. It’s time for another cozy autumn season! If you’re gathering your TBR list, you’ll want to add these eight titles to guarantee a great spooky season of reading.
Places We’ve Never Been by Kasie West Book Review
Another read from my summer tbr, I picked up this title at the library because I loved the book Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson (which I actually have at The Reading Chamber!) I always love a good road trip book and have read some pretty bad ones in the past so I was hoping that this would be the summer road trip romance of my dreams. This author is hit or miss for me so I was cautiously optimistic.
The Trouble with Flirting by Claire LaZebnik Book Review
While working my way through my summer TBR list, I read a book that took place at a summer theater program. I didn’t realize when I added it to my list that it’s actually by the author Claire LaZebnik, who wrote The Last Best Kiss, which we had at the bookstore! I really enjoyed that book, but didn’t care too much for her other title Epic Fail, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this next read.

If You’re Team Conrad, Read These YA Books
The Fisher boys have taken the world by storm with the Prime adaptation of the YA book The Summer I Turned Pretty. Everyone wonders if Belly will choose brooding, loyal Conrad Fisher or his younger brother fun-loving, impulsive Jeremiah Fisher. But, if you read the book back in 2009 when it was published, you know the ending and the ultimate decision Belly makes.
The Rebel Girls of Rome by Jordyn Taylor Book Review
My bookclub ended up choosing this book for our July read and I luckily already sold it in the bookstore! (I promise, that is not why I suggested this book for our monthly read.) I loved Jordyn Taylor’s previous book, The Paper Girl of Paris, which is also available at The Reading Chamber.
